Pranic Healing |
THE ANCIENT SCIENCE AND ART OF HEALING |
Pranic healing is an ancient science and art of healing that utilises prana, ki or life energy to heal the whole physical body. It also involves the manipulation of ki and bioplasmic matter of the patient's body. It has also been called medical qigong (ki or ki healing), psychic healing, vitalic healing, therapeutic touch, laying of the hand, magnetic healing, faith healing, and charismatic healing.
Have you experienced meeting people who made you feel tired, sleepy, and even depressed after talking with them? On the other hand, sometimes you meet people who make you feel good and energetic after interacting with them even for only a few minutes. These are examples of transference of energy from a higher level to a lower level.
Pranic Healing is based on the same principle. It involves transfer of life force or vital energy to heal the body. Pranic Healing is basically mechanistic in the sense that if a pranic healer follows the instructions taught in the course the predetermined results will follow. One does not have to spend 10 to 20 years just to learn how to perform paranormal healing. Neither does one need any "special inborn healing power" nor clairvoyance to heal.
Pranic Healing is based on two laws:
The law of self-recovery and the law of prana or life energy.
Law of Self-Recovery:
In general, the body is capable of healing itself at a certain rate. If a person has a wound or burn, the body will heal itself and recover within a few days to a week, in other words, even if you do not apply antibiotics on the wound or burn, the body will repair or the treatment of viral infection. But even if a person has cough or cold due to viral infection, the body will recover generally in one or two weeks without medication.
Law of Life Energy:
For life to exist, the body must have prana, chi or life energy. The healing process can be accelerated by increasing life energy on the affected part(s) and on the entire body. Light can affect chemical reaction. This is the basis for photography. Electricity, when passed through an electrical conductor, produces a chemical reaction. This is the principle behind electrolysis. Similarly, pranic energy can and does accelerate the chemical reactions of the body. The rate of healing is increased substantially or several times when pranic energy is applied to the affected part of the body.

THE ENERGY BODY |
| Pranic Healing recognizes the existence of a subtle energy body (aura) which surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body. "Diseased energy" is the negative energy which makes a person sick. This diseased energy appears first on the energy body before it manifests on the physical body. Pranic healers have observed that what affects the energy body affects the physical body and vice versa. In general, most ailments in the body tend to be associated with either congestion or depletion of pranic energy. Pranic Healing assists the body's energy system to normalize so that the body can heal itself.Pranic Healing relates the problems of the physical body to the imbalances or maladies of the human energy field. This energy field is commonly called the humanaura or bioplasmic body. It is made of substances more refined than gas which most people cannot see with their eyes. Some people who have psychic faculties can sense or see it with their so called "inner eyes." There are twirling vortices of energy called chakras which serve as the breathing mechanisms of the aura. These energy centres or chakras are lined along the spine from the top of the head to the base of the spine. Prana is absorbed into the body through these chakras. The corresponding chakras then digest and distribute the energy to the nearby organs.

In the palm of your hands are energy centers' called chakras. Through a simple exercise, taught by the Pranic Healing Instructor, these chakras will be activated. Once activated, these chakras will become sensitive to feeling other's energy as well as your own. You can scan the energy field to locate blockages and be able to cleanse, energize and revitalize the area with new prana. You will also learn techniques to stop the drain of energy on your body that many health practitioners experience while working on others. You will actually energize yourself while your are healing someone else!
Just like you
have internal organs that perform specific functions in your
physical body, the energy
body has centers or chakras which also have specific
functions in controlling physical, mental,
psycho-emotional and spiritual states. The chakras are
similar to power stations, providing fuel for the different
systems to function effectively. And just like you
have veins and arteries that distribute and circulate blood
in the physical body, there are meridians or nadis in the
energy body that move energy around.
The Solar Plexus Chakra controls most of the internal organs and is also the seat for personal power in the material world. It is also the home of the lower astral emotions such as anger, hatred, jealousy etc. When such emotions are experienced in a sustained way, the chakra gets congested and the effect is experienced physically as a tightness in the epigastric region (below the breast bone) or a sensation of a lump or soreness in the area or chest pain.
. The chakras are the gateways to
states of Higher Consciousness.
Common
knowledge on chakras deals with 7 major chakras. Grand
Master Choa Kok Sui has
revealed a system with additional major chakras; some of these major chakras have remained secret over
many centuries.
What
is the big deal about these additional chakras you may
ask? Not having knowledge of all the chakras and their
functions, is a limitation in the ability to heal.
Imagine going to a physician who has no knowledge of some of
your internal organs. - they would be limited in the
treatments they can give you.

case of scoliosis with osteophytes and degeneration of the
inter-vertebral discs was healed through Pranic Healing. After
